Hawaii

After a 10 hour plane trip, I've made it safely back to Hawaii. Elin will be joining me early August, she is currently spending time with her family in Norway. It's been strange being back, after being gone for 3 years, a lot has changed, yet it still seems like I was here yesterday. I went for a run Saturday afternoon and ended up at the church where Elin and I got married, I spent some time there looking out over the ocean, thinking about the past few years and thanking God for the new adventures ahead.

Bitter / Sweet

It's my last week at work here in Australia. Over the past 2 years, I've spent 100's of hours in this office, preparing messages, studying, meeting with students and leaders of YouthStreet (the Student Ministry I've been leading - www.youthstreet.com.au), it's hard to believe it's all wrapping up.

Elin and I are so excited for the next season, yet the reality of it is still sinking in. As exciting as it is to get back involved with YWAM and be with our friends again in Hawaii, it's also going to be very hard leaving our family, friends and church here on the Gold Coast.
